Cancellation:

We kindly remind our customers that any cancellations should be made no later than 2+ hours before the scheduled appointment to avoid incurring a cancellation fee and this applies to other services offered by JDS Notary Services LLC.

Client No-Show/Unprepared (e.g. no valid ID, incomplete documents)Full Travel fee is still due. Notarization fee is waived.
Same-Day Cancellation (within 2 hours of appointment)50% of total service fee may be charged.
Last-Minute Cancellation (less than 1 hour notice)Full travel fee applies.
Rescheduling with notice (2+ hours)No penalty — one-time courtesy reschedule allowed.

Terms above apply unless otherwise specified for RON/Contract services. No refund payments for inconvenience charge.

To reschedule, please inform us with at least 2+ hours’ notice to avoid any cancellation fees. We appreciate your advanced notice and consideration.

Payment:

Full payment is due at confirmation for mobile notary services. Link will be sent for payment. Company Agreements differ.

Remote Online Notary sessions: payment is due at the time of service by signer(s) or your organization will be sent an invoice.

Cash payments: If payment is needed to be made in cash, a review and exception may be made case by case for in-person mobile notary appointments. Upon confirmation, a non-refundable deposit is required and must be paid by card online at confirmation.

🚘 Travel fees apply to all mobile notary services. This will be included in your invoice for transparency.
